Prunus avium rootstocks.

Due to the wet winter and very wet spring in Belgium, the Prunus avium rootstocks did suffer some inconvenience. The oldest leaves have a tendency to discolor. Prunus avium is not the plant of choice that can tolerate high water levels and cold temperatures. Nevertheless, the young top growth is still good and these stems will be ready to be grafted with some tasty cherry varieties in the spring of 2025.
